There is some new technology being deployed at the UK eyewear retailer Specsavers. The technology is a virtual try-on using facial analysis to take a 3D scan of the face and then creating a personalised selection of eyewear based on your face shape, gender and age.
Frame Styler identifies the styles and colours of frames from across Specsavers’ ranges that suit you, allowing you to see first-hand how different glasses change your appearance from all angles, taking the guesswork out of buying glasses.
Customers can also scan their face online using a web browser and a camera and be presented with a list of recommended eye glasses.
The technology allows for Live Try-On where customers can see how various frames look on their face using their device’s camera.
Frame Styler is part of Specsavers’ broader strategy to integrate digital innovations into their shopping experience, offering customers a convenient and personalized way to select eyewear.
