New Chanel and Tommy Hifinger stores lets you take selfies

Both Chanel and Tommy Hilfinger’s new clothing stores in London have installed iPads into the dressing rooms to allow customers to take pictures of themselves and e-mail them to friends. The Chanel store also has iPad minis integrated into the display racks, so customers can peruse the entire collection online while they’re in the store, whilst Tommy Hilfiger have also installed an iPad in an in-store bar area so that shoppers can browse the latest look-books on tommy.com.

Bas Bruijninckx, IT Director for Ecommerce & Digital at Tommy Hilfiger parent company PVH, said “bringing the digital brand into the store environment creates more touchpoints for the customer, increases dwell time, and makes for more engaged shoppers.”
