eBay are inspiring shoppers with the world’s first shoppable pantomime at London's Charring Cross Theatre. Theatre viewers will be entertained by the classic story of Cinderella. You’ll be handed an iPad with a special app for the pantomime. Then the fairy godmother introduces one of eight shopping experiences. As the classic story of Cinderella unfolded on stage, gift ideas were also sent to the tablet devices. All the classic Cinderella characters were included in the play, but each represented a member of the family that needed to be bought a Christmas present. At the end of the show, customers can e-mail the gift ideas to themselves.
