Audi have added some more leading edge innovation to Audi showrooms in the UK. To coincide with the launch of the new Audi TT, customers can use a virtual reality headset which puts them in the passenger seat of an Audi TT as it is driven around. This concept would work particularly well in Audi City stores which is all about showcasing Audi cars in densely populated city areas where space restricts displaying cars or even test driving them.
“This ground-breaking initiative adds a touch of theatre to automotive retail, allowing Audi customers to experience the thrill of the new third-generation TTS in its full glory,” explained Nick Ratcliffe, head of marketing for Audi UK. “We will become the first automotive manufacturer to install virtual reality in every one of our UK sales outlets.
