Dynamic Media Platform

How it Works
A dynamic media platform is a technology which hosts and serves digital assets that are predominantly images or video and serves them on the internet for the customer's browser to display. The business uploads the master version of the asset and the site then requests the image in the most format for the customer's screen, the page it is to be displayed in and the context of use. Advanced platforms not only allow variations such as size, aspect ratio and compression ratio but also allow dynamic effects to be applied. An enterprise platform will have a fast, reliable and highly available Content Distribution Network (CDN) which is a set of nodes on to which the media is distributed and cached resulting in the fastest possible media load times.
