The Co-op in Switzerland have rolled out a scan & go technology to 80 stores in Switzerland. The self scanning solution runs on hand terminals owned by the store or runs as a mobile app on the customer's own phone. There are now over 250,000 registered customers. Co-op says the scheme is to increase overall customer loyalty by providing a more personalised and reward driven experience.
