Remote queuing at O2 stores

UK based phone store, O2, have launched a digital queueing system into 100 of its stores. The technology provides accurate waiting times. When a customer is queueing, their mobile number is taken and they are kept updated on their position in a queue via text message so they can continue with their day and return to the store when an advisor is free. O2 Stores general manager Bridget Lea said, “It is helping save our customers valuable time so that they can get the most from their shopping trip.”

The software was built by UK tech company Qudini.
