Zozotown bodysuit

Japanese online fashion retailer Zozotown's idea lets shoppers order clothes with a near-custom level of fit by sending a bodysuit to customer's homes and using a mobile app to take measurements in 3D using the dots as markers on the body. The bold concept had some immediate teething problems when launched but the technology has been licensed to Levis showing that Zozotown are still keen to test & learn the concept.

Over the past decade many startups have been trying to solve the problem of high returns rates from online clothing sales. This is an innovative idea which may still gain legs.
